We are so pleased to have secured Ysgol Bro Morgannwg in Barry as our venue for Pass the Bounce. It is one of the high schools in the town, located at Colcot Road, Barry, CF62 8YU, and is the perfect home for us. The entire weekend will be held here which means:

One site only = no stressful moments trying to find your way to your next class.

Three massive halls for classes (all with nice smooth floors!), with the Main Hall doubling up as our party space.

A big lunch area and break room, so you can hang out, meet new friends, and refuel.

Designated quiet rooms filled with off-the-floor resources to read, listen and explore, as well as a space to stretch and decompress if you feel the need to take some time out of the social hubbub of the weekend.

Gender Neutral and Accessible Bathrooms throughout.

Lots of free, on-site parking, plus a bus stop outside, and just a 10 minute taxi ride from the train station.

DANCEFLOOR LOWDOWN

Floors in all three workshop spaces are smooth and some are sprung. Feel free to bring a couple of options for dance shoes so you can decide what you find most comfortable to dance in - no high heels please. Please note, chalk cannot be used anywhere in the venue.

Barry is one of Wales’ most well known towns (not least because of the BBC’s ‘Gavin & Stacey’), and for decades Barry Island has been one of those nostalgic seaside spots. The town is really well connected by road, train, and by plane, so no matter where you’re coming from, you’ll be able to find us with ease. Plus being just 25 minutes from the Welsh Capital, accommodation is much cheaper than the city centre!

We can’t wait to welcome you to Wales! We’ve put together a guide to transport and accommodation to help you plan your festival trip, and, most importantly, a guide to where to eat in the area. Click on a link below to check out our recommendations.
