A taxi between Cardiff city centre and Barry typically costs between £25 and £35, with the journey taking approximately 20–30 minutes depending on the time of day.

BARRY STATION is the nearest train station to the venue, located approximately 2 miles away. It is an 8 minute drive from there to the venue or a 40 minute mostly uphill walk (Barry is HILL CENTRAL!). You can also take a 96 or 96A Cardiff Bus to the venue (the bus stop is a few minutes walk from the station).

If you are coming from CARDIFF CENTRAL, Barry Station is a 25-minute direct train ride from Cardiff Central via Transport for Wales. Trains typically run every 20-30 minutes. The first trains each day run very early (from about 5am), however the last train service from Barry Station to Cardiff Central leaves just before 11pm.

If you are staying in PENARTH, COGAN station is on the direct train line to Barry Station (from Cardiff Central). Trains leaving from either PENARTH or DINGLE ROAD stations do not have routes directly to Barry Station and so will require you to change trains at GRANGETOWN.

Coming to Pass the Bounce from outside of the UK? Cardiff Airport is just 15 minutes drive from Barry, making it potentially very convenient for you. It is a small airport, so the list of direct flights to Cardiff is quite limited, however there are multiple flights a day to/from Amsterdam Schipol, as well as direct flights to other UK airports.

If you are travelling from outside of the UK and Amsterdam Schiphol is not a convenient transfer for you, then flying to Bristol Airport or Heathrow may be more suitable options for you, with both airports offering more routes. There are direct buses (National Express and Flixx) from both Bristol Airport and Heathrow to Cardiff which run multiple times a day.
